Estonia’s castles and manors offer filmmakers a rich tapestry of history, elegance, and atmosphere. There used to be around than 1300 manors in Estonia, of which over 400 remains and around 150 are in ruins after Soviet ocupation. Many of these survived estates are well-preserved or beautifully restored, offering authentic settings that transport audiences to another era.
